On 29 March 2019, Mr. Thawat Sumitmor, Acting Consul-General attended the "Cambodia Night 2019" at the Crowne Plaza Xi'an. In the event, there were Mr. Hor Monirath, Vice Minister of Tourism of Cambodia / Mr. Hoy Pichravuth, Consul-General of Cambodia to Xi'an / Mr. Gao Yang, Deputy Secretary of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government / Mr. Zhang Xilong, Deputy Inspector, Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchage, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China / Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Center, delivered remarks.

There were approximately 200 people participated the "Cambodia Night 2019". The activities included Cambodian cultural performance and promotion of Cambodian business in tourism and culture to open investment opportunity for developing tourism of Cambodia, such as increasing international and domestic flights and attracting investment in hotel and entertainment industries to level-up tourism of Cambodia to international level.
