On 14 August 2019, Miss Oracha Tanakorn, Consul-General and Governors from the Lower Northern Provincial Cluster 1 of Thailand (Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Phetchabun, Tak and Uttaradit Province) met with Mr. Xu Datong, Deputy Governor of Shaanxi Province, at the Sofitel Xi'an on Renmin Square. Both sides discussed about strengthening and promoting cooperation under the Sisters' Cities Relations between Sukhothai Province and Shaanxi Province in economics, culture, tourism and education.
