On 10 January 2020, Miss Oracha Tanakorn, Consul-General attened the "Amazing Thailand Open to the New Shades Networking Event" organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chengdu Office, at the Grand Hyatt Xi'an.

In the event, Consul-General and Mr. Xu Xuejie, Vice Inspector of Department of Culture and Tourism of Shaanxi Province, delivered the Opening Remarks. There were many tour agencies and airline companies that based in Xi'an participated in the event.

TAT Chengdu Office concluded that in 2019, there were 10.98 million Chinese tourists visited Thailand, rising 4.2% from 2018. The number of Chinese tourists visited Thailand counted as 6.62% of all Chinese tourists travelled abroad. 1.84 million tourists from Sichuan, Shaanxi, Chongqing and other provinces in the North Western region of China visited Thailand, rising 0.66% from 2018. Top destinations are Bangkok, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Suratthani and Samui Island.
